Craig's weekly report

On a weekend when Storm Ciara was the main talking point there was limited opportunity for EFTers to get out and about.

Parkrun - five club members made the most of the calm before the storm to run at Craigtoun with Miriam Rennet being the first EFT athlete home.

Devilla Forest 15k trail race - the organisers of this event took the brave decision to go ahead with their races on Sunday morning at the height of the forecasted winds. Despite treacherous travelling conditions for those heading to Tulliallan, the race itself was run in pretty decent conditions as the west of Fife seemed to miss the worst of Storm Ciara. Adrian Wood completed the wet and windy 15k route in 1.09.10 (25th in Category).

ABC Monikie winter duathlon series - the final round of the series fell victim to Ciara and has been postponed to a reserve date in March.

Elsewhere our junior club were forced indoors but kept themselves busy with workshops on bike rollers technique, goal setting and bike maintenance, whilst our club president managed some MTBing on the local trails...sorry, local streams around Cupar! ☔Well done everyone 👍
